Trying to work out how much to budget for your wedding stationery? Here's what you can expect to pay for wedding invitations, on-the-day stationery and complete wedding stationery packages, plus a few things that can make the price go up or down.
Wedding stationery is one of those things you know you need for your wedding… but working out how much wedding stationery actually costs can be surprisingly confusing.
There are invitations, evening invitations, menus, name cards, table plans, welcome signs, wax seals, ribbons… and suddenly your Pinterest board has turned into a shopping list of approximately 47 things!
So, let's make it a little easier.
As a wedding stationer, I believe your stationery should feel personal, beautiful and completely considered, but that doesn't mean you need to spend a fortune or have every possible piece of stationery going.
Here's what you actually need to know about wedding stationery costs at Sophie-Elizabeth Wedding Stationery.
How much does wedding stationery cost?
The cost of wedding stationery varies depending on your guest numbers, invitation style, printing, finishing touches and how much stationery you need for your wedding day.
As a general guide, you might spend:
- Wedding invitations: from around £7-£9+ per invitation
- Evening invitations: around £5 each
- Menus: from around £3.50 each
- Name cards: from around £1.30 each
- Table names: around £5 each
- Table plans: from around £75
- Welcome signs: from around £50
Of course, bespoke designs, additional finishing touches and things such as wax seals, ribbons, envelope liners and venue illustrations can increase the overall investment.
The good news? You don't need all of them.
